We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Lowell Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our facility, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience in facility maintenance, collaboration skills, electrical systems knowledge, and the ability to diagnose and solve problems.

Requirements

  • To have a prior understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation systems work experience or combination of education and training preferred.
  • Ability to read technical manuals.
  • Experience with MS Office and Excel preferred.
  • Prior hi-lo experience is preferred.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required, including evenings and weekends.
  • Has problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • To be NFPA 70E qualified in Standard Electrical Safety in the Workplace.
  • Previous experience in operations/maintenance environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • GRCC's 'Industrial Maintenance Certificate' or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Complete preventive maintenance and work orders.
  • Assist in HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other systems to determine causes of issues and make necessary repairs.
  • Assist Maintenance during downtime of production.
  • Assist maintenance in troubleshooting problems.
  • Help set-up or install new equipment and systems as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with contractors and external vendors on maintenance projects.
  • Assist in maintaining ZWTLF and Sustainability program.
  • Assist in maintaining the facilities stock of supplies and cleaning materials.
  • Perform outside Maintenance to keep facility in a safe and in an orderly manner.
  • Work cross-functionally between teams.
  • Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely performing all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.
  • Help Maintain Industrial Stormwater permit by completing audits.
