Facility Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Position Summary: The Facility Maintenance & Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and cleanliness of the facility and surrounding property. This role performs routine maintenance, basic repairs, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure the building, equipment, and outdoor areas remain functional, organized, and presentable. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance duties in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform general facility maintenance including minor repairs, painting, and basic carpentry Conduct routine inspections of building systems and report maintenance needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of interior and exterior facility areas Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing, trimming, snow removal, and debris cleanup Assist with preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems Set up and move equipment, furniture, or materials as needed Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies in good working order Follow all company safety policies and procedures Assist with other facility-related duties as assigned Qualifications: Previous facility maintenance, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience preferred Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications: Experience with preventative maintenance programs Experience operating landscaping or snow removal equipment IND2
Requirements
- Previous facility maintenance, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs
