This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, with a n emphasis on Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or equipment repair.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with automated conveyor systems and basic electrical/electronic systems.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and basic blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of electrical (AC/DC), mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot industrial machinery and PLC logic systems.
  • Proficient in basic carpentry, plumbing, and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs ., work at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive, and efficient.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective in working independently with minimal direction.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications (Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Mechanic, Machinist) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, including Material Handling Equipment (MHE), conveyor systems, motors, sensors, and relays.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs , including basic I/O functions and industrial controls.
  • Maintain and repair dock equipment, forklifts, HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on MHE, electric vehicles, pallet trucks, and other equipment.
  • Conduct facility repairs ( that could include , welding, plumbing, racking, structural) and installations (cabling, office setups).
  • Maintain parts inventory and respond to maintenance requests.
  • Ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and organization.
  • Champion a facility utilizing 5s principles and ensure its integration into daily routines; while promoting a culture of organization and cleanliness throughout the facility.
