The Facility Maintenance Technician at McLane Global is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained. This includes work on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing minor leaks.
  • Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including outlets, fixtures, and wiring, in accordance with safety codes.
  • Service HVAC systems, replace filters, and perform seasonal maintenance.
  • Conduct plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and ensuring proper drainage.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, records, and inventory of tools and supplies.
  • Assist in coordinating with external contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Keep all tools and maintenance areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tools and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform tasks that require manual labor.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
