The Facility Maintenance Technician III is responsible for maintaining and upkeep of water district grounds, buildings, and structures. Job Description Essential Functions and Responsibilities: The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Perform tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and other general maintenance on TRWD buildings, structures, and grounds Transporting materials and equipment for maintenance projects Responsible for the start and finish of assigned projects including, but not limited to, project planning, design, estimating labor and materials, and leading work crews Perform data entry for work orders and for timekeeping Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean work environment Interact and coordinate with other TRWD personnel May supervisor and direct the work of others to include performance evaluations and discipline After hours Emergency Response Participate in an on-call rotation Report maintenance or structural issues to department supervisor Participate in applicable condition assessments Maintain familiarity with strategic district levels of service Continuous improvement monitoring and innovation efforts Identify training budget needs Performance review alignment Job description review Perform other duties as required At TRWD, we pride ourselves on the sustainability we bring to our clients, communities, and employees.
