About The Position
We are hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician II (Pipefitter/Welder) to support operations in a Central Utility Plant and/or Water/Wastewater Treatment facility. This role performs preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, piping, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. $33.00- $35.00 per hour DOE
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance, pipefitting, or welding experience
- Strong welding and pipefitting experience
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in industrial environments
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, and mechanical systems
- Perform pipefitting, welding, brazing, and fabrication work
- Execute preventative maintenance and inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Install and maintain plant equipment and systems
- Enter and manage work orders in CMMS
- Follow all safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, confined space)
- Operate lifts, forklifts, and other equipment
