About The Position

The individual in this role will perform simple repairs & predictive/preventative maintenance to facilities infrastructure, support equipment & test fixtures that are unique to a research & development facility.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of, buildings, or other structures.
• Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Responsibilities

• Repairs in the areas of carpentry, painting, plastering, and plumbing.
• Repairs or replace defective Facilities & Test Room/Equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Inspections of power transmission drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
• Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
• Assists others with Request Maintenance & Capital Project modifications.
