About The Position

Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of facility and facility systems and equipment. Accountable for large scale projects and managing vendors.

Requirements

  • Must have personal computer, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC skills.
  • ERP system and CMMS experience and working knowledge required.
  • Must have working knowledge of fabrication and machine shop tools.
  • Must have ability to read electrical schematics, diagnose electrical issues and effectively repair.
  • Requires strong attention to detail and ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, and strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
  • Contract negotiation experience is required.
  • Must have 10+ years’ experience with managing large scale capital projects and managing vendors related to manufacturing facility maintenance, preferably plastic injection molding.
  • Must be able to work any shift and respond to emergency calls 24/7, 365 days per year, including holidays.
  • Must have 10+ years technical team leadership experience and ability to lead team effectively.
  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and enhancements for facility, facility equipment while adhering to safety and GMP requirements.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC installations.
  • Comply with GMP and other regulatory requirements as well as Company and site policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with co-workers and vendors.
  • Improve and broaden skills by participating in training programs.
  • Support group and site cost improvement goals and initiatives.
  • Support maintenance involvement in site projects.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift, as well as constant mobility daily.
  • Additionally, this position requires ability to move within/between departments and facilities.
  • Ability to review items closely and have color recognition.
  • Requires pushing, pulling, lifting, moving and/or carrying up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally move 100 pounds as a time.
  • Ability to twist and bend to reach into awkward spaces.
  • Requires exposure on an infrequent basis to inclement weather conditions.
  • Requires ability to safely and effectively operate fork trucks, scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers.

Nice To Haves

  • Education Trade Licensure, Technical Degree, Journeyman Certificate related to Facilities or Industrial Maintenance Preferred, not strictly required if possesses applicable industry experience.
