About The Position

The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor will assist in leading our maintenance team operations. They will work closely with the Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance procedures and projects for the hangars, terminal, passenger jet bridges and baggage handling system, and off-site government affairs buildings. Key responsibilities include: Daily Team Supervision Lead and direct a team of skilled technicians across multiple shifts Assign daily work orders, monitor progress, and provide hands-on guidance and support Ensure compliance with safety protocols and airport regulations Operational Oversight: Oversee maintenance and repair activities related to: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting General terminal and hangar upkeep Work Coordination & Execution: Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and proactive issue resolution Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Collaboration & Reporting: Serve as the day-to-day liaison between technicians and the Facility Program Manager Provide feedback on team performance and resource needs Assist with inventory management and contractor coordination

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role
  • Successful completion of a background check (Keystone Management and FAA compliant)
  • Must pass the Ronald Reagan National Airport SIDA badge and driver’s test within two attempts
  • Valid driver’s license and MVR check required

  • Prior experience in airport, transportation, or commercial facility settings strongly preferred
