About The Position
The Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager for the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women in Baker, LA. This position may be filled as a probational appointment or promotion of a permanent classified employee of Louisiana State Government. The selected employee may be required to serve a trial detail prior to being permanently promoted. The position may also be filled by temporary job appointment, with the possibility of conversion to a probational appointment if a permanent position becomes available. The role involves managing construction, maintenance, and repair activities at one or more facilities, with direct supervision over subordinate maintenance personnel.
