Facility Maintenance Assistant
About The Position
Maxon Shooter's Supplies is looking for a Facility Maintenance Assistant to work directly with the Facility Maintenance Supervisor. Job duties will include the following: Basic Range cleaning - 3 days a week up to daily Taking out garbage in 2 ranges Sweeping brass casings and collecting into buckets Clean range floor Cleaning of hallway floors Changing range filters Machine cleaning of range floors 1x month Showroom Cleaning - 3x week Cleaning of all inside windows Cleaning of bathrooms (2) Dusting merchandise in showroom Cleaning of classroom floors and tables Cleaning of lobby area Empty outside ashtrays Other duties as assigned in order to assist the Facility Maintenance Supervisor Weekly work hours will vary from 15-20 hours. Maxon is open Thurs-Sun 10a-9p, Mon-Wed 10a-6p Range cleaning will need to take place after/before hours, while the range is closed
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a valid IL Firearm Owner's Identification Card
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform work overhead
- Must be able to be fitted for ventilator mask
- Extended periods of standing
- Must be able to work on a ladder
