About The Position

The team member provides safe and effective maintenance in a timely manner to meet daily production needs and goals. The team member will also conduct facility maintenance duties as assigned to meet daily, weekly, and monthly schedules while working in accordance with established policies and procedures to complete maintenance requests and tasks assigned by the Specialist.

Requirements

High School Diploma/G.E.D Required
High School Diploma Preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
Ability to communicate effectively with external customers and internal departments.
Skills in organizing and prioritizing work activities.
Ability to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to use hand tools.
Drive
Lift up to 40 lbs.

Bend/stoop

Ability to operate a golf cart and Glovis yard vehicles
Precisely perform sanding, brushing touch-ups, and taping

The position is based in a plant manufacturing/warehousing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance duties adhering to all safety regulations lock out / tag out, and state and federal regulations.
Assist Maintenance Specialist in performing preventative maintenance on vans, trucks, and equipment as required
Maintains clean work environment in the maintenance shop, facility and grounds. Works to ensure the facility and grounds are maintained in a clean, safe environment. i.e. Yard sweeper, Block Painting, Pot Hole Repair, Litter pickup, weed eating
Assist with projects.
Conduct weekly / daily inspections.
Performs duties according to proper vehicle handling procedure, standard work instructions, and safe work practices.
Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures.
Ensures ISO compliance standards are met, utilizing documentation as identified by WP ISO system.
Provides continuous feedback to Maintenance Specialist of all facility, grounds, and equipment status.
