About The Position

We are hiring a Facility Lead, Friday though Monday, hours will be between
5:00am - 5:00pm, to supervise, coordinate and execute warehouse activities to
ensure a safe and efficient operation. This full-time hourly position will
report to the Facility Manager to support our customers with high quality,
accurate and timely service and may occasionally require holidays and overtime.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to respond to requests promptly and resolve issues quickly.
• Effective skills in problem solving, planning, staffing, and executing warehouse operations.
• Ability to lead a diverse workforce; to effectively develop employees and communicate objectives.
• Available during non-standard hours, access to a cell phone, and able to respond to after hour emergencies.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, and technology equipment including WMS and (RF) Scanners.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum three years of previous leadership experience in operations.
• Minimum one year in an environment picking, packing into parent units, and building pallets for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Keep warehouse up to code by reviewing safety codes, layouts and security procedures.
• Coordinate and monitor orders, inbound/outbound loads and inventory discrepancies.
• Assist in hiring new employees as needed, to ensure warehouse team staffing levels.
• Plan and communicate shift objectives, monitor performance and address needs with team.
• Collaborate with all leads to forecast labor needs to control costs and contribute as an LTO.
• Coach, develop and ensure appropriate training of employees to manage performance.
• Conduct performance and annual reviews on all employees reporting to you.
• Assist with customer physical inventories/tours and offer continuous improvement.
• Learn and understand customers and step in when needed to perform those tasks.
