This role serves as a front-line leader responsible for overseeing daily operations within one or more departments while ensuring Health & Safety, compliance, and operational excellence are always the top priority. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
5–7 years of experience in industrial, environmental, or facility operations
Proven leadership experience in a hands-on operations environment
Rail experience required as drum handling, tank farm operations, truck loading/unloading, or wastewater processing
Ability to obtain required site-specific certifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Windows-based systems and general computer use
Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative

Responsibilities

Acts as a first-line leader overseeing daily operations of assigned departments within the facility
Drives a strong safety culture and ensures compliance with all Health & Safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Oversees and ensures completion of all required operational paperwork and data entry
Maintains a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work environment
Communicates and escalates operational, safety, or compliance concerns to leadership as needed
Assists with operating light and heavy equipment when required
Trains, mentors, and supports new and existing employees to ensure safe and efficient operations
Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs
