The Facility Engineering Coordinator at Sprouts Farmers Market is responsible for managing service technicians for equipment repairs across store locations. This role involves close collaboration with vendors and store managers to ensure effective service delivery, tracking unresolved issues, and maintaining communication with various stakeholders. The coordinator will also oversee facility maintenance processes, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

  • Respond to repair needs and maintenance requests from Store locations and follow up with vendors as needed.
  • Maintain communication with Store Managers, Regional Directors, Regional VPs, national accounts, and contractors.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support from the Facilities team.
  • Utilize the Site Manager system to troubleshoot and dispatch for refrigeration, lighting, and HVAC equipment issues.
  • Manage relationships with landlords and contractors to ensure corrective actions on warranty work orders.
  • Engage Lease Administration, Construction, and Legal teams for compliance issues with landlords/contractors.
  • Coordinate repairs with the Risk Management team to ensure hazard-free operations and compliance with codes.
  • Procure new vendors in new markets due to business growth needs.
  • Administer key performance measures to improve facility maintenance processes and profitability.
  • Maintain records and contracts, coordinate project activities, and provide scheduling support within the Facilities team.
  • Responsible for the GreenChill (EPA) certification and recertification of all Store locations.
  • Direct sales initiative projects from creation of purchase orders to project completion.
  • Support the Facilities Management team in executing tactical and strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to process improvements to align with business needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by clerical coursework.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in general office responsibilities and procedures preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of basic principles and practices of bookkeeping.
