We are looking to fill a Principal Engineer – Materials Procurement Specialist position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in West Point, PA. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 4 or more years Supply Chain, Facility Management or Inventory Operations.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Fiori Apps, VeevaVault, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Technical skills to be able to navigate computer applications.
  • Attention to detail, communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Procurement skills (analyzing/forecasting)
  • Working in an operations support role
  • Technical writing – including investigations, SOPs

Responsibilities

  • Conducting forecast analysis for material procurement, obtaining quotes, and placing orders for materials used in the preparation of clinical supplies, safety assessments, stability, and experimental formulated drug products.
  • Researching supply chains for procured materials and requesting required vendor documentation.
  • Working with multiple business partners to ensure material availability required to support on-time delivery.
  • Managing materials from order to receipt, including collection of all required documentation.
  • Uploading vendor information to a supply chain request tool.
  • Inspecting documentation for completeness
  • Supporting warehouse management activities
  • Placing orders through multiple internal ordering systems
  • Adhering to SOPs, cGMPs and safety procedures
