Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor Engineering Program (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical or Industrial) in your Junior, Senior years, or recent graduate preferred
  • Proficiency in CAD or similar software for updating and modifying engineering drawings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite - Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization written and verbally
  • Lift to 50lbs, climb ladders, stoop, bend, stand for prolonged periods, exposed to various weather conditions and work at heights

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of P&IDs and piping ISOs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Mechanical Integrity Program
  • Learn about corrosion mechanisms and participate in corrosion monitoring and mitigation activities
  • Gain exposure to Process Safety Management (PSM) principles, including the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) process, Management of Change (MOCs), Operating Procedures, Incident Investigation, and other elements of PSM
  • Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including the pillars of Process Safety Management (PSM)
