About The Position

To perform assigned cleaning tasks to ensure that the facility is kept in a
clean and orderly condition

Requirements

• Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest
• Must have the ability to:
• Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
• Work under general supervision and direction from a lead person, supervisor, or manager
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Push/pull/lift 40 lbs.
• Frequently bend, walk and climb (stairs) to complete daily tasks
• Use both powered and manual cleaning tools to complete daily tasks (broom, mop, and sweeper) including driving/riding on a sweeper and floor scrubber to maintain the warehouse and manufacturing floors
• Must have:
• Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
• A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of janitorial experience preferred
• Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash receptacles, and sanitizing all assigned areas of the facility, including restrooms, using both manual and powered cleaning equipment
• Follow standard cleaning practices to ensure areas are properly cleaned and sanitized per work instructions
• Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately and as directed
• Stock and maintain appropriate cleaning supplies in designated areas
• Report any issues immediately pertaining to cleaning materials, equipment, or issues in the facility that require repair
• Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
• Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
• Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
• Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
• Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
