About The Position

The Facility CEO is the highest-ranking executive responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of the facility. This role demands visionary leadership to drive growth, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The CEO will cultivate a strong organizational culture that promotes innovation, accountability, and collaboration across all departments. They will serve as the primary liaison between the board of directors, stakeholders, and the facility’s management team to align goals and execute long-term plans. Ultimately, the Facility CEO ensures the facility’s sustainability, reputation, and success in a competitive environment through effective decision-making and resource management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in facility management or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and complex operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to facility operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related advanced degree.
  • Experience as a CEO or senior executive in a similar facility or industry.
  • Certification in Facility Management (CFM) or equivalent professional credentials.
  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and innovation.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups and managing public relations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve facility goals and objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive organizational development by mentoring senior management and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across all facility functions.
  • Represent the facility at industry events, community engagements, and board meetings.
