About The Position

Pasadena Villa Great Lakes provides evidence-based, clinically excellent, client-centered care for individuals seeking treatment for complex mental health disorders and co-occurring conditions along a full continuum of care designed to support long-term sustainable care. The CEO influences and communicates the strategic vision and objectives within the facility and is responsible for creating a positive culture committed to superior client care. The Facility CEO directs day-to-day operations, ensures clients are provided with robust clinical programming in a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment, manages and develops staff, ensures sound fiscal operations, and promotes positive relationships with clinical partners, referents, payors, and the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree in a Clinical field of study is strongly preferred.
  • Position requires a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, preferably with clients with primary mental health diagnosis.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Clearance of criminal background, TB test, and other mandatory state/federal requirements.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the governing body to develop and implement clinical programs and operational objectives that promote program growth and respond to changes in the market.
  • Creates and sustains a culture focused on providing clinically excellent, client-centered care aligned with the treatment philosophy and core values.
  • Ensures achievement of business objectives through day-to-day operational, financial, clinical, and regulatory oversight of all programs.
  • Effectively manages resources to meet client needs while maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Ensures timely submission of operational reviews and key performance metrics; interprets metrics and proactively adapts operations as needed.
  • Promotes professional growth and development of staff at all levels, championing teamwork and critical thinking.
  • Ensures compliance with all licensure, accreditation, contractual, state, and federal requirements.
  • Supports development, implementation, and enforcement of all policies and procedures, including patient rights.
  • Monitors and continuously improves program quality using industry best practices.
  • Establishes a welcoming environment and strong culture of customer service.
  • Promotes communication and collaboration between admissions, business development, utilization review, finance, and clinical teams.
  • Supports the admissions process by reviewing and approving admissions to ensure efficiency and client focus.
  • Leads proactive communication with department leaders regarding actual or potential risks or service issues.
  • Provides regular supervision and coaching to staff, addressing challenges and celebrating successes.
  • Collaborates with leadership to ensure clear interpretation of roles, responsibilities, authority, and relationships.
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities and fosters openness to feedback.
  • Manages difficult or emotional client situations and solicits feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Communicates clearly with clients, families, interdisciplinary team members, and referral partners.
  • Maintains effective relationships with community organizations and behavioral health partners.
  • Provides presentations and participates in tours as needed.
  • Serves as on-call designee for emergencies or assigns appropriate coverage.
  • Ensures follow-up with referral sources throughout the treatment process.
  • Assists with conferences and marketing activities in coordination with clinical partnership teams.
  • Reviews policies, procedures, staff communications, and posted materials as needed.
  • Functions within the facility’s Code of Ethics and corporate compliance guidelines.
  • Promotes the organization’s mission, vision, values, and goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
