Facility Attendant- Jesse Owens Complex (260 Days)
About The Position
Assumes the duties and responsibilities of Lead Facility Attendant in their absence, to include maintenance work orders, documentation, emergency situations, and inspections Supervisor assigned staff to the facility in maintaining housekeeping of the facility and adjacent grounds Operates HVAC equipment for environmental comfort according to established guidelines and directives, perform all operator inspections, and maintain operator log sheets Assists in inspection of the facility and adjacent grounds for security, vandalism, safety hazards, housekeeping and makes reports to the appropriate personnel Complete and submit all operating, accident, and emergency rescue reports to provide accountability of operations in CMMS and to correct department Maintain adequate supply inventory Follow the facility cleaning schedules and performs housekeeping in the assigned work section using approved housekeeping methods and acceptable standards Provide outstanding customer services to our students and the general public Comply with District policies and procedures Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned All federally funded incumbents of this position must comply with time and effort reporting requirements through personnel activity reports or periodic certification, as appropriate Watson Candidate Assistant is here to answer questions about working at Dallas ISD.
Requirements
- Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. equivalency)
- Two (2) years of job-related training equivalent to one (1) year of technical training
- Minimum two (2) years of related experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC equipment operation, housekeeping cleaning procedures, and custodial equipment
- Demonstrated organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position
Nice To Haves
- Advanced HVAC/MEP preferred
