About the role HealthFitness is seeking a dependable on-call Facility Attendant to provide coverage at our client site in Auburn Hills, Michigan . This role supports daily operations by filling in when regular staff members are unavailable and helps ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained facility. Provides daily laundering of towels/exercise bags, maintains locker rooms, exercise equipment and office area cleanliness/upkeep and some front desk work.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification (in-person or blended classes only) from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council, or American Safety & Health Institute (required within 30 days of hire; send copy to [email protected])
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provides daily laundering/folding/restocking of towels.
- Launders and returns exercise clothing bags to member lockers.
- Maintains office area.
- Performs facility maintenance responsibilities; ensures facility, equipment and locker rooms are clean and stocked at all times.
- Ensures personal and facility appearance meet standards.
- Answer phones and check emails.
- Verifies equipment is operating properly and immediately reports any potentially unsafe conditions.
- Projects and other duties as assigned.
