About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Facility Asset Manager located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. This position manages and optimizes physical facility assets throughout their lifecycle. The role tracks and optimizes asset performance, ensuring their efficient state across multiple facilities. Maintaining the integrity of asset databases, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and using asset management software. Expertise in Maximo is essential for data compilation, analysis, and reporting, including KPI reporting.

Requirements

  • Intermediate or Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Beginner level proficiency in Microsoft Project, Powerpoint, and Adobe Pro.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred but relevant work experience may be substituted.
  • Active Government Clearance at time of application
  • US Citizen
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to coordinate project activities with Contractor and Government representatives.
  • Conduct fact-finding for special projects and/or quickly respond to Government inquiries and present oral briefings as required to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement.
  • Positive attitude and ability to provide excellent customer service even in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintaining a comprehensive asset inventory: This includes documenting all physical assets, like HVAC systems, elevators, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, etc. and include details about the asset type, location, condition, age, maintenance history, etc.
  • Manage asset tagging procedures and supplies.
  • Manage any staff that support the facility asset management program.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies: Creating preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize disruptions and prolong asset lifespan.
  • Assist in planning for major capital improvements based on asset condition and business requirements.
  • Assist with long-term financial planning and providing data-backed insights on asset investments
  • Utilizing asset management software and data analytics to track asset performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Creating detailed reports on asset performance, condition, and financial implications for stakeholders.
  • Communicating with various parties, including leadership, employees, vendors, and regulatory bodies, about facility-related matters.
  • Ensure information contained within the Maximo database is accurate while maintaining security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
  • Oversee the collection of facility asset data and ensure timely project execution.
  • Provide data input into Maximo as necessary.
  • Track labor hours related to the collection of facility asset data.
  • Develop SOPs and assist with document control as it relates to field and tool implementation.
  • Support the Engineering Manager in weekly, monthly, and quarterly project status reporting.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager in an orderly and efficient manner.
