Facility and Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Maintain physical condition and appearance of all buildings and grounds Conduct regular preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Diagnose, troubleshoots, and repair facility and vehicle issues Use various hand and power tools, testing instruments, and equipment Perform snow/ice removal, landscaping, general cleaning, and janitorial oversight Monitor and support building safety and security protocols Coordinate event setup and furniture/equipment moving Manage vehicle maintenance: oil changes, tire service, and scheduling manufacturer service Drive service vehicles to various Hi-Hope locations as needed Order and manage parts, supplies, and vendor coordination Be willing to be On Call at anytime for Maintenance Emergencies to all buildings and grounds
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 2–4 years of related facilities and vehicle maintenance experience
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years)
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification (training provided)
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, TB test, and background check
- Must have reliable transportation
