About The Position

SERVPRO is seeking a highly organized and proactive Facility and Fleet Manager to oversee warehouse operations, fleet maintenance, and equipment readiness at our Naperville and Chicago warehouse locations. This multi-location role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and uninterrupted support for production teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • Five to seven years of warehouse or shop experience (or three or more years with a relevant degree).
  • Financial Reports and Budgeting Basic understanding of financial reports: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and budgeting.
  • Ability to review activity and inventory reports, assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Fleet Management platform.
  • Ability to train team members and provide confident leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑compliant warehouse environment to support daily operations.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, service coordination, and accurate maintenance logs.
  • Track, inventory, and maintain all company‑owned equipment, tools, and production supplies.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to remove vehicles from service for maintenance or travel projects as needed.
  • Ensure production teams are equipped with fully functional tools and materials for scheduled work.
  • Perform minor repairs on vehicles and equipment to reduce downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly fleet reports to the Operations Manager.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish consumable materials to meet operational demand.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and uphold all safety standards throughout facility operations.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to resolve discrepancies related to invoices, packing slips, and receiving documentation.
  • Evaluate equipment condition and usage, recommending replacements or additions as appropriate.
  • Implement and maintain safe, efficient storage solutions for all materials and equipment.
  • Continuously assess and improve warehouse systems and procedures to enhance performance.
  • Provide operational support during after‑hours, emergency response, and storm‑related events as required.
