About The Position

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. Facility Administrator $85,000-$100,000/year Admin will manage 2 Adult Healthcare Facilities, Nursing Home Administrator License required! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:

Requirements

  • A current and active Nursing Home Administrator license issued by this state
  • One (1) year experience in a leadership/management role in SNF preferred
  • Current Administrator license appropriate to the facility licensure issued by this state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Health Care Providers.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Travel as needed between 2 local facilities
  • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and organizes the daily functions of the facility.
  • Available 24/7 by phone, unless another qualified person has been scheduled to be available.
  • Manages financial responsibility within budgetary guidelines.
  • Knowledge of financial reimbursement for resident services rendered.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines, licensing requirements and all Mentor policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, providing corrective action and terminating direct report staff.
  • Maintains staffing levels within regulations and budgetary guidelines.
  • Manages Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP), Independent Contractors, and vendor services.
  • Ensures that all safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, including timely completion and submission of all incident and accident reports.
  • Initiates and manage emergency procedures.
  • Ultimately responsible for assuring that all resident and staff records are kept organized, complete and confidential.
  • Responsible for the admission process and maintenance of the resident business files.
  • Responsible for the Performance Improvement Program.
  • Provides direction and support to the Nurse Manager
  • Participates in management planning sessions
  • Travels as required and performs other related duties and activities as required.
