Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required or relevant work experience.
• Clinical nursing experience required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare.
• 4+ years of leadership experience.
• Preference for candidates with experience in ASC, outpatient, surgical site, and multi-site healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as both the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of Nursing (DON) for a state-of-the-art surgery center.
• Drive and sustain a zero-patient harm culture.
• Collaborate with physicians to meet patient needs and exceed patient expectations.
• Build and manage a team of high-performing clinicians to deliver excellent patient care.
• Oversee business office functions of the center.
• Lead and partner with the Medical Executive Committee, Governing Body, and Board of Managers in developing clinical guidelines.
• Mentor and develop a team of clinical and business professionals focused on clinical quality outcomes.
• Utilize effective hiring and development processes to ensure a high performing team.
• Provide teammates with authority, accountability, training, information and resources.
• Recommend, develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans.
• Partner with Regional Lead and other SCA leaders to design and implement growth initiatives.
• Lead operational excellence.
• Manage the center's P&L, including financial controls and reporting.
• Implement and maintain annual strategic business plans.
• Collaborate with SCA corporate departments to identify and implement best practices.
• Maintain center operations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Direct and supervise all nursing operations to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Implement evidence-based practices in nursing care.
• Develop and enforce nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure the facility meets all state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety.
