About The Position
Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking 1 Part-time Facilities Worker at our Mayo Campus. Shifts are 9:00-1:00 and 2:00-6:00.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- 1 to 2 years Experience Preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains grounds to insure the proper time to care for plants, water, reseeds all landscape and grounds plantings such as grass, trees, shrubs and flowers.
- Maintains related landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment. Mows, weed- eats/edges, and removes snow utilizing mowing machines and other equipment.
- Order and pick up supplies as needed.
- Performs room set-up for events, assembles and delivers furniture, and moves and/or hauls equipment/furniture as needed.
- Includes custodial work as needed such as cleaning, disinfecting, floor maintenance, and trash disposal.
- Assists with routine maintenance on campus. May have to travel to assist at other campuses or work other shifts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
