Are you the fixer everyone calls? Picture this: A line goes down mid-shift. You trace the issue through a schematic, isolate a failed switch, replace it, and bring the machine back faster than expected—safely and by the book. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, you’ll thrive here. Your mission Hunt down and resolve electrical and mechanical problems across production equipment. Install and repair machinery and facility systems; oversee basic spare-parts storage and inventory. Read and interpret prints, drawings, and schematics to plan effective solutions. Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and validate machinery performance. Run normal, start-up, and emergency shutdown procedures for plant utilities (generator, air compressor, cooling tower, chiller). Replace defective electrical elements including switches and sockets. Carry out safe rigging and lifting. Leverage intermediate machine shop skills as needed. Follow all safety procedures—lock-out/tag-out every time. Pitch in on facility work: carpentry, plumbing, and painting. Back up electricians during peak or complex tasks. Brief the Plant Engineer/Shift Supervisor on issues and handoffs each shift. Keep the workspace tidy and organized. Be available to support any segment of forming production when called upon. Take on other tasks aligned with team priorities.
