About The Position

NRVCS is looking for our next Facilities Technician! The Facilities Technician performs routine and preventative facility related maintenance and repairs including HVAC filter and/or system maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, drywall repair, interior finishing and general facility duties including care of grounds, snow removal, painting and physical facility appearance. Requirements

• A combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School Diploma
• Extensive work experience in the field of Facility Services
• Considerable experience in construction, repair, and maintenance work involving facilities
• A qualified License to perform General Contracting work and/or trade license (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) in the Commonwealth of Virginia is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative facility related maintenance and repairs

• Conduct electrical work as needed
• Handle plumbing repairs and maintenance
