About The Position

Arizona Liver Health (ALH) is dedicated to driving high standards of care and advancing medical innovation through leading clinical trials, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance, and generating high-quality clinical data. Our network of multiphase, multitherapeutic research, standard of care, and VEN Centers sites is staffed by skilled providers, research, clinic, pharmacy, and patient outreach professionals. ALH operates state-of-the-art facilities and programs to meet the evolving needs of clinical research and overall patient treatment. Title: Facilities Technician Status: Full-time, Exempt Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience Location: Chandler, AZ Essential job functions/duties Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Collaborate with the Facilities Managers, who assign, prioritize, and review work. Provide regular updates to Facilities Managers and escalate issues as needed. Respond to emergent facilities issues, triage accordingly, and resolve in a timely manner, including escalation to trusted vendors when necessary. Perform hands on repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building upkeep. Plan and coordinate installations, maintenance, and service with trusted vendors. Support building maintenance for Arizona Liver Health, Arizona State Urological Institute, and other related entities. Support vehicle fleet management, including routine maintenance, registration, etc. Provide support to Operations management including hanging installation of various office and interior components, assembly of furniture, and other related requests. Support routine inspections of buildings to ensure smooth operations and identify potential issues. Perform proactive preventative maintenance of facility systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and others to reduce stress on systems and improve longevity. Document processes and keep maintenance records. Provide periodic detailed reports to Operations management regarding work completed and in process. Collaborate with team to ensure building security and function of security services. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and building systems. Assist with Vendor acquisition/scheduling. Organize/manage multiple inventories: tools, materials, etc. Share the on-call afterhours responsibilities with Facilities Team. Must be willing to do the “dirty jobs” with a great attitude. Requirements

  • Reliable and professional individual with a high ethical code and moral conduct.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in facility and/or building maintenance.
  • General handyman, electrical, plumbing, janitorial, HVAC, vehicle, and building maintenance knowledge is required.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Positive attitude with a high aptitude to learn.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and take direction/constructive criticism.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for work order systems, email and teams' communication, and maintenance reporting.
  • High School diploma or GED
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) and/or general HVAC certifications
  • Must have valid documentation and authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred one (1) year of apartment maintenance.
