Our office in Falls Church, VA has an immediate opening for a Facilities Technician reporting to the Facilities Director; this is a non-exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position.

Requirements

High School Diploma; 2+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance or currently have an active Top-Secret Clearance.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
The employee must frequently grasp, lift and /or move items over 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the routine building maintenance including but not limited to minor drywall patching and paint, touch up of walls, hanging of pictures/whiteboards/bulletin boards, spot cleaning of carpets, caulking, replacing ceiling tiles, installing light bulbs, changing ballasts, basic plumbing (cleaning drains, replacing faucets/toilets).
Maintaining stock rooms, receiving shipments, stocking shelves, rotating stock, removing trash, general upkeep of the office spaces.
Responsible for maintaining the office space to include: spot cleaning carpets, painting marred walls.
Assembling furniture and distributing the furniture to offices for setup.
Provide maintenance and repair services.
Assist in Government property inventory processes
Assist in the upkeep, monitoring, and implementation of the corporation’s safety requirements
Additional duties as assigned
