Inspects and repairs facility components and performs general facility upkeep under general supervision. Must maintain equipment in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations and in compliance with preventive maintenance program.In the state of Washington, this position is considered a safety-sensitive position and is therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing, including cannabis.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years experience preferred
• Possesses a broad base of knowledge, skill, and ability in various maintenance and repair disciplines
• Ability to operate tools and equipment as required
• Maintain a safe work place

Nice To Haves

• Electrician and welding licensing preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs various facility components and systems which may include electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, industrial waste water treatment plant, etc.
• Inspects and tests equipment and performs preventive maintenance.
• Performs mechanical work in the maintenance and minor repair of facility systems and equipment.
• Installs new components and systems.
• Cleans or performs any other general facility upkeep tasks as directed by management.
• Properly disposes of non-hazardous and hazardous liquid and solid waste.
