With the legendary Georgia World Congress Center as our backdrop, Signia by Hilton Atlanta holds a 976-room milestone property with over 140,000 sq. ft. in banquet space and 8 unique F&B outlets! Our 10+ team members report to the Director of Property Operations. The ideal candidate holds at least 2+ tears of experience in facilities maintenance, locksmithing, or door/access control hardware (hospitality experience preferred). Ideal Candidate will be able to communicate in English and understand the language. Shift Pattern: Full Availability. Candidate will work rotating shifts throughout the week, including weekends and holidays. Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour What are the benefits of working for Hilton? As a Maintenance Technician, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Requirements

  • At least 2+ tears of experience in facilities maintenance, locksmithing, or door/access control hardware (hospitality experience preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on all meeting space, guestroom, suite, public area, and back‑of‑house doors, frames, and locking systems.
  • Diagnose and perform corrective maintenance on mechanical and electronic locks, keycard systems, smart-lock hardware, deadbolts, latch mechanisms, door closures, hinges, strike plates, panic hardware, and safety devices.
  • Inspect and adjust door alignment, tension, swing, and closure rates to ensure smooth and secure operation.
  • Replace or repair worn components, including seals, sweeps, closers, hinges, and locking cylinders.
  • Troubleshoot electronic lock malfunctions, offline devices, battery issues, and access credential problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of door and lock PM schedules, battery cycles, audit results, and hardware inventory.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for lock system vendors and door hardware suppliers.
  • Work with vendor technical support for troubleshooting, software updates, and escalated repairs.
  • Assist with installation and configuration of new lock systems or hardware upgrades.
  • Coordinate and supervise vendor work when on property.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest room calls, including lockouts, door issues, and general maintenance requests.
  • Support the broader Engineering team with routine operational tasks, such as basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and preventive maintenance work.
  • Participate in rotating on‑call or shift coverage schedules as required.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization in engineering work areas.
  • Uphold all safety, security, and brand standards consistent with a luxury hotel environment.
