A Facilities Technician is a service professional responsible for performing maintenance tasks under the direction of Facilities Maintenance Management. The duties include ensuring the proper operation, safety, and efficiency of the hospital facilities, the physical plant, and related infrastructure. Responsibilities encompass performing minor electrical work, mechanical repairs, plumbing, operating machinery, conducting testing, and maintaining equipment as well as other maintenance related tasks. The compensation range for the role is $24.82 -$25.54 hourly (includes general maintenance compentency at hire). Please note, additional compensation will be determined based on demonstrated skills and competencies. The time required to achieve the necessary level of competency may vary by individual; any timelines provided are approximate. Relevant experience in the skills listed below will be recognized and compensated accordingly upon hire.
