About The Position

The Facilities Technician at Nexus-PATH Family Healing is responsible for maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the agency's facilities, vehicles, and grounds. This role involves performing various maintenance tasks, including grounds upkeep, vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The technician will also manage supplies and assist in facility construction and repair projects, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and residents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years' experience in building maintenance, construction, or a related trade skill
• Proven work experience in plumbing, woodworking, electrical work, vehicle maintenance, and/or landscaping
• Ability to meet Life Safety Codes
• Valid Driver's License and meet state driving requirements.

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years' experience in building maintenance, construction, or trade skill
• 2+ years proven work experience in all areas: plumbing, woodworking, electrical work, vehicle maintenance, and/or landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Inspect building structure and property for safety concerns and document observations.
• Complete work orders and related reports within facilities and housekeeping areas.
• Secure the building at the close of each workday and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Perform basic automotive maintenance on agency vehicles and schedule appointments for repairs as needed.
• Identify and repair furniture in need of restoration and maintain organized storage areas.
• Plan and facilitate facility construction and repair projects, prioritizing urgency and importance.
• Maintain adherence to safety regulations and train staff on safety policies and procedures.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain adequate inventory for facility needs.
