Requirements

  • All applicants must possess legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related technical field, preferred.
  • Strong professional attitude with a safety focus, excellent teamwork skills, self-motivation, and reliability in work execution.
  • Computer skills including MS office and ability to learn new programs specific to the job.
  • Ability to read plant and equipment drawings/controls diagrams.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude/troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands on experience with piping, electrical, HVAC, or similar.
  • Experience with hand/power tools piping, pumps, motors, fans, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical knowledge of semiconductor /industrial mechanical equipment (HVAC, air handling units, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, process piping systems, air abatement systems, etc.) preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of industrial controls systems (SCADAs, Allen Bradley PLCs, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily operations including daily rounds, shift pass downs, reviewing trend data, responding to system alarms, receiving chemical deliveries, and maintaining area 6S.
  • Train under senior technicians and engineers, performing written OJT (On the Job Training) panels as systems are learned.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on various equipment and systems, utilizing written procedures, O&M manuals, drawings and diagrams.
  • Assist in construction and commissioning related to system improvements and new system installs.
