About The Position

Facilities Technician III – Boilers & Chillers Specialist at LeeSar/CSF in Fort Myers, FL. This full-time position involves maintaining and operating critical systems that support healthcare across Southwest Florida. The technician will ensure that boilers, chillers, and utility systems operate safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall mission of the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in commercial/industrial facility maintenance
• Advanced knowledge of boiler and chiller systems, hydronic/steam piping, and HVAC central plants
• EPA Section 608 certification preferred (refrigerants)
• Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, and control systems (BAS/EMS a plus)
• Valid Florida driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and central plant equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, ASME, EPA)
• Respond to service requests and emergency outages with urgency and expertise
• Document maintenance and system performance in our CMMS (MPulse)
• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with operations staff to minimize downtime
