About The Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining MCB facilities in a manner that meets bank image standards and proper operating and safety order and for performing custodial duties.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of purchasing and cost containment
  • Knowledge or regulations regarding ADA and building security, lighting, access and ergonomics.
  • Knowledge of building safety requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience with electronics and mechanical equipment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Good customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the maintenance MCB facilities to ensure that the appropriate bank image is projected and that the buildings are in proper and safe operating order.
  • Performs building maintenance and repairs at MCB offices, branches, and other bank owned property on a timely basis, including but not limited to shoveling snow, replacing light fixtures, minor building, plumbing or electrical repairs, painting, lawn and garden maintenance, etc.
  • Assists outside maintenance resources as necessary to complete tasks.
  • Responds to requests for maintenance assistance from the facilities manager or branch managers.
  • Responsible for vendor relationships regarding maintenance issues.
  • Conducts semi-annual assessment and prepares report of equipment and buildings renovations and repairs.
  • Oversees work quality and timely completion of work assigned to vendors.
  • Performs routine custodial duties as required to maintain the bank’s facilities in a clean and safe manner.
