At Arizona Athletic Grounds (AAG), Facilities Technicians support our services for our guests. They are experts at the technical side of the job – keeping the facility, grounds, technology and systems well-maintained and operational. Beyond that, our Facilities Associates make our Guests & Athletes feel welcome and support their team members to ensure all areas of AAG grounds, buildings, and equipment are cared for to help ensure our Guest’s visits to AAG are memorable.

  • Complete all maintenance and repair tasks as directed by Facilities Management
  • Monitor operation and proper use of all equipment and systems
  • Trouble shoot and repair issues in all areas of the venue
  • Answer and respond to maintenance calls for assistance
  • Monitor the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment
  • Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with Guests and Associates
  • Assist in additional duties and events as needed.
  • Desire to learn new skills in maintenance
  • 6+ months maintenance experience or trade school certificate(s) in electrical, plumbing, maintenance
  • Some skilled trades experience (HVAC, refrigeration, painting, carpentry, dry wall)
  • Knowledge of general maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts, tractors, scissor lifts, etc.
  • Ability to operate power tools such as drills, saws, nail guns, etc.
  • Positive communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (to operate golf carts and equipment)
  • Due to the nature of job duties, must be 18 years of age or older
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays occasionally
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, and bend
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down ladders, stairs, roof access, etc.

  • Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25-50 lbs,
  • Moving, setting up/taking down, cleaning, preparing courts, and other physical activities related to sports and event setup.
