Performs repairs and maintenance in utilities, facilities, or on machines and equipment. Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: mechanical, electrical and refrigeration. Manage HVAC equipment: Chillers, Air Handling units, pumps, within others through Building Automation system (BAS) Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and timetables. Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, Gathers and compiles information for reports. Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding. Document tasks, repairs and maintenance activities through CMMS and service platforms (SAP and Service Now) Ability to manage many clients at a time, utilities equipment, electrical main distribution panels, emergency generators etc. Utilize Building automation (BAS) to remotely control Air handling units Promote employee awareness/training on matters of environmental, health, and safety. Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical and mechanical infrastructure in facilities. Installs, operates, monitors and maintains utilities, including HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) setup, maintenance and balancing, WFI (water for injection), purified water and process equipment. Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facilities mechanical components and electrical equipment and systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies. Develops, maintains and secures a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools. Recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes.
