About The Position
PENN Entertainment is seeking a Facilities Tech I to join their team, contributing to an exciting and fast-paced entertainment industry. This role is responsible for the operations and maintenance of equipment that provides utilities such as light, heating, air conditioning, and general building and room maintenance. The Facilities Tech I will perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, maintenance, and installations of machinery, tools, equipment, and associated systems to ensure continuous and safe operation of the property. This includes directly or indirectly supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, water distribution, fire suppression, and sewerage facilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and direct activities of hotel maintenance mechanics
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, and walk throughout the duration of shift
- Excel both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
- Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operations and maintenance of equipment to provide utilities such as light, heating, air conditioning, building, and room maintenance
- Inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication
- Responsible for all general maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the building as directed by a supervisor
- Ensures adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures
- Performs minor structural repairs including sheet rock, doors, trim, and plumbing
- Reports inventories and work schedules to maintenance supervisor every day
- Conducts preventative maintenance
- Performs scheduled and nonscheduled repair, maintenance and installation of machinery, tools, equipment and/or associated equipment to ensure continuous and safe operation of the property
- Directly or indirectly supports the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and water distribution, including fire suppression and sewerage facilities
