About The Position

Our 8th Avenue Facilities Technician role is responsible to provide support to the maintenance, production and shipping/receiving groups for the preventative and corrective maintenance, repair, and installation of all activities at all Attune Foods Eugene facilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Must exhibit sound judgment, tact, courtesy on a daily basis, and have excellent rapport with staff members.
  • Possess a valid OR driver’s license.
  • Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: Must be able to bend, crouch, stoop, sit, and kneel for 4+ hours per shift. Must be able to balance for 8+ hours per shift. Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs for 8+ hours per shift. Must be able to climb/work off ladder and reach above shoulders for 4+ hours per shift. Must be able to work in a dusty environment, high heat, or humidity for 8+ hours per shift. Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds infrequently.
  • All offers are contingent upon a successful drug screen and background check. Attune Foods, LLC’s pre-employment test does not include marijuana/THC.

Nice To Haves

  • One year in facility maintenance and / or construction
  • Familiarity with basic tools used in construction, facilities management and industrial maintenance.
  • A general knowledge of building & facility maintenance procedures along with a skill set that includes basic proficiencies in some or all the following: plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Good computer user skills, experience with computerized maintenance management systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform on going preventive maintenance and repair work on facility and installed systems.
  • Maintains, operates all HVAC & utilities systems and monitor the building automation system.
  • Perform general maintenance (e.g. change light bulbs, maintain exterior property including snow removal, etc.) and facility repairs as needed.
  • Respond to all facility related emergencies, including but not limited to fire alarms, HVAC system alarms, security alarms, etc.
  • Perform facility inspections, prepare and submit reports of conditions in the building and recommend actions to be taken.
  • Daily pass-down of information to Maintenance Team and Management.
  • Accurately execute preventive maintenance schedules as well as inform management of problem areas within their area.
  • Responsible for taking necessary action on all food safety and quality problems reported or observed.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
