About The Position

The Master Facilities Systems Technician possesses advanced knowledge of plumbing and/or mechanical systems and uses their knowledge to perform tasks that support the Plant Systems department in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and mechanical systems.

Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience
  • Oklahoma Construction Industries Board contractor plumbing and/or unlimited HVACR license required
  • Proficient in design-build of plumbing and /or mechanical systems
  • Proficient in LOTO procedure
  • OSHA 510 or 511 required
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must have basic computer and technological skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, scissor lifts, hand trucks, pipe threader, and sewer auger
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Must pass background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Receives pre-assigned or demand facility maintenance work orders
  • Uses advanced knowledge and experience to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems including but not limited to: water service lines, domestic water distribution piping, water heaters, valves, regulators, back flow devices, fixtures, gas lines and compressed air lines.
  • And/or: uses advance knowledge and experience to perform installation, maintenance and repairs of mechanical systems including but not limited to: air conditioning, heating, ventilation, evaporative coolers, compressed air systems, dust collectors, refrigeration, pumps, motors, piping, bearings, shaft alignment, ice makers
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
  • Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
  • Performs other duties as assigned
