Responsible for the administration, design, review, inspection, supervision, and coordination of facilities construction projects. Administers contracts; develops the scope of minor facility construction/renovation/major building system renewal, and replacement projects. Coordinates with user agencies to maintain continuity of operations; schedules and plans the work with other County Departments and Divisions; coordinates construction activities with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure compliance with federal, state, County, and local government requirements. Estimates costs, conducts construction-related procurement, and reviews technical specifications and permitting. Monitors contract provisions; conducts site observations and closing out of projects.
