About The Position

M&M Industries is a U.S.-based manufacturer of plastic pails and packaging solutions. We operate in a manufacturing environment where cleanliness, safety, and organization are essential to supporting daily operations and maintaining a safe workplace. Facilities Support is responsible for performing custodial and facility-related duties that help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role supports overall facility upkeep through routine cleaning, organization, and basic maintenance tasks while following all safety and cleanliness standards. Schedule:12 hour days, 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Requirements

Ability to use cleaning supplies and custodial equipment
Highly organized
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to lift over 40 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and bend or stoop as needed
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include hot or cold conditions
Ability to wear required PPE at all times (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)

Nice To Haves

Less than one (1) year of custodial experience preferred

Responsibilities

Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles
Clean building interiors including floors, carpets, rugs, and other surfaces
Clean and maintain offices, break rooms, and restrooms
Empty trash and recycling bins
Clean assigned machines and work areas of dust, debris, and grease
Perform pest control activities as needed
Operate and perform minor maintenance on floor scrubbers
Stock and maintain required cleaning supplies
Maintain safety railings and designated walkways throughout the facility
Perform other duties as required
