About The Position
Position Summary: The Part-Time Cleaner / Facilities Support is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming workplace environment. This position includes routine cleaning tasks, light upkeep of shared spaces, and the care of indoor and outdoor plants and flowers.
Requirements
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical cleaning tasks.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and respectful of company property.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
- Wipe down desks, counters, and high-touch surfaces with disinfectants.
- Clean restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and windowsills.
- Clean glass doors and windows as needed.
- Restock cleaning and restroom supplies from storage.
- Water indoor plants and outdoor flowers according to schedule.
- Monitor plant health and notify supervisor if special care is needed.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs.
- Follow company safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
