About The Position
Eastside Prep is seeking a Facilities Support team member to help us fulfill our mission to guide students to think critically, act responsibly, lead compassionately, and innovate wisely. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment that supports the educational experience of our students and staff. The Facilities Department plays a crucial role in creating spaces where students and employees can thrive, as studies have shown that well-maintained environments significantly enhance performance. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. As a Facilities Support team member, you will be a positive ambassador for Eastside Prep, communicating effectively about the school both internally and externally. You will execute tasks efficiently and punctually, building positive relationships across all departments. Professionalism is key in this role, and you will be expected to demonstrate it through your words, actions, and appearance. You will also be responsible for bringing important topics to management's attention in real-time and suggesting potential improvements to processes and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include setting up, resetting, and thoroughly cleaning up after events, maintaining clear walkways, and performing frequent restroom cleaning. You will also be involved in general maintenance tasks such as soft and hard surface cleaning, pressure washing, and exterior cleaning of windows and benches. Utilizing the school's CMMS platform to execute work orders and complete assigned trainings on time will be part of your daily routine. Additionally, you will assist with daily security and safety presence on campus, manage traffic safety, and ensure that event spaces are clean and reset throughout the day. This role requires strong people skills, the ability to work around students and faculty, and a willingness to collaborate for solutions.
