About The Position

The Opportunity: The Facilities Support Associate is primarily responsible for operating the company shuttle and providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services across the corporate campus. This role ensures timely transport of employees, packages, product samples, and materials between designated locations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. In addition to driving responsibilities, this position supports receiving, shipping, mail distribution, event set-ups, and reprographic services as needed. The Driver & Shipping Clerk plays a key role in supporting daily Corporate Services operations for approximately 1,800 employees, ensuring efficient movement of both people and high-value materials across campus.

  • Valid Class B driver’s license with Passenger (P) endorsement required
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to meet company requirements for operating a company shuttle vehicle.
  • Ability to sit and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, mailroom operations, facilities, or corporate services support preferred.
  • Experience in a corporate office environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in using shipping systems such as UPS online portal preferred.
  • Knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle safety procedures.
  • Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Familiarity with package tracking systems and shipping documentation.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices in loading dock environments.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and secure handling of corporate materials

Responsibilities

  • Operate the on-site company shuttle for a significant portion of the workday (approximately 4+ hours daily or as scheduled).
  • Provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for employees between designated campus locations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic safety checks (fuel levels, tires, lights, cleanliness, etc.).
  • Maintain shuttle cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a professional and service-oriented demeanor while interacting with employees and guests.
  • Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments including product samples, toy prototypes, office supplies, marketing materials, and corporate mail.
  • Verify shipment accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders; identify and report discrepancies or damages.
  • Coordinate timely internal delivery of packages.
  • Handle confidential or high-value shipments with discretion and care.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments using the UPS shipping portal.
  • Generate shipping labels, track shipments, and provide tracking information to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with conference room and onsite event set-ups including tables, chairs, signage, and materials distribution.
  • Support breakdown and reset of event spaces as requested.
  • Coordinate delivery of event materials and supplies across campus using company vehicles as needed.
  • Provide reprographic support including high-volume copying, binding, and preparation of presentation materials.
  • Ensure timely completion of print and copy requests.
  • Maintain organization and inventory of reprographic supplies and report equipment issues.
