About The Position

We are looking for a Facilities Supervisor to support the development and daily execution of a facility and security strategy across multiple Trex sites in the greater Winchester area. As a Trex Facilities Supervisor, you will ensure that the Trex manufacturing campus maintains business continuity through a strong preventive maintenance program for core and shell systems. You'll lead a team of in-house tradespeople for building and infrastructure repairs, new installations of electrical systems, IT infrastructure and other general maintenance activities. This role is a key member of our Facilities team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of similar work experience or equivalent experience working with 3rd party vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Master Electrician certification.
  • Knowledge of applicable trade categories such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
  • OSHA 10 (or 30) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a predictive and reliable facilities preventative maintenance program that includes a schedule of planned activities to ensure reliability in operations.
  • Support company construction projects as assigned through scope creation, vendor walks, and technical support as it relates to core and shell building assemblies and systems.
  • Coordinate and manage 3rd party vendors to complete construction projects and maintenance activities onsite as needed and assigned.
  • Support site audits to identify defective systems and building components for repair and replacements.
  • Support safety initiatives site wide including contractor safety management, safety audits, and projects to enhance safety throughout the business as assigned and required.
  • Aid in coordinating 3rd party vendors and completing negotiations in partnership with sourcing teams for activities such as mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, fire suppression, landscaping, snow removal, contract cleaning crew activities, roofing, waste, and recycling removal.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for site repairs/maintenance for the VADR manufacturing campus core and shell needs.
  • Partner with EHS to ensure that sites meet local city and county zoning and environmental standards.
  • Support the development of a site-specific facilities budget and work within this budget to maintain a safe and resilient operation.
  • Lead a team of internal electricians for electrical repairs, conduit installations, electrical system upgrades, required system testing and maintenance.
  • Lead other internal tradespeople performing repairs and new installations as assigned and required including general carpentry (drywall, paint, flooring), plumbing, HVAC, and preventive maintenance activities.
